‘Tis the season to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with a spirited cocktail! I love seeing our local businesses turn into Winter Wonderlands and lean into a fun seasonal theme. Here’s your guide to finding a seasonal concoction and lots of Christmas cheer in the Triangle!
The Haymaker
Visiting the Haymaker at Christmastime is one of my favorite holiday traditions! At the end of November each year, this local spot in Downtown Raleigh transforms into an all-out Christmas bar with the help of Miracle Pop-Up. Within their cozy space, you’ll find decorations galore as well as delicious themed cocktails like the “Elfing Around” and the “Christmapolitan.” Bring your family and friends to the Haymaker for this festive experience!

Wye Hill
I am super excited for Wye Hill’s first ever holiday pop-up bar, Sippin’ Santa! They’ve decked their halls and their amazing patio for the holiday season. The drinks and decor have a tropical feel and will warm you right up from the Winter blues. You can also take part in their holiday toy drive as a way to give back to our community!

Corpse Reviver
Have you visited the Durham Distillery’s sophisticated bar yet? Corpse Reviver is a spot you must try, but especially while you can find it filled with holiday spirit! They have beautiful Christmas decor, a new seasonal menu, festive films, and even frozen hot chocolate (insert heart eyes here!!!) They also have a holiday cocktail and dessert pairing flight that is out of this world. Make sure to head to Durham to enjoy this gem!

The Durham Hotel
For another visit to Durham, make your way up to the top of the Durham Hotel to enjoy their rooftop bar! This is my favorite bar in Durham and I am so excited that they just announced their holiday food and drink menu. Everything they make is so good and you’ll love the gorgeous view of Downtown Durham.

Sports and Social
Everyone is loving Fenton, including me. It just got even better with the addition of Tinsel Tavern within Sports & Social Cary. On the first floor, you’ll find festive area closed off from the rest of the bar that has turned into a Christmas wonderland! Filled with festive food and drink, this is a great spot to stop by for a break from shopping all the wonderful Fenton retail.
