There's something incredibly soothing about water. The way a nice cold gulp flows down your throat to the way your toes get tickled when the water hits the sand. It's power, used gentle or harsh.
It's mind boggling how something can be both so lovely and terrifying at the exact same time.
On this gusty day, I thought I was going to the symphony but womp here I am at Jordan Lake. Sometimes things don't go the way you plan and I've learned how sometimes the best trips are the spontaneous ones. This sunset turned out to be one of the most spectacular ones I have ever seen & I'm glad I didn't miss it. I love taking photos during the Golden Hour and the way the sunset reflected on the lake was beautiful. Something about being surrounded in every direction by water made my vision seem so bright and clear like never before.
Yellow is my favorite color, especially mustard yellow. I've been loving this mustard yellow tee from Old Navy. It's so soft and comfy and I may or may not have gotten an XL for extra comfort. I layered the mustard yellow with an orange scarf and of course my Ray-bans and Kendra Scott Elyse Ring which I'm rarely seen without. Shop this look below!

Sometimes I forget how a nice walk at a lake or pond can be just as peaceful as walking along the ocean shore. There must be something in the water.
Thank you for joining me at The Coffee Table.
